Equine PEMF Therapy

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy is a gentle, non-invasive modality used to support equine wellbeing, comfort and recovery.

At Honovi Harmonised Health, each horse is considered individually, with PEMF sessions tailored to their needs, workload and circumstances.

Movement & Comfort - Supporting comfortable movement, mobility and general musculoskeletal wellbeing.

Recovery - A supportive modality for horses following work, training or competition.

Relaxation - Many horses appear relaxed during their PEMF session, making it a gentle addition to their wellbeing routine.

Individulaised Care - Sessions are tailored to the individual horse, including their age, workload, history and current circumstances.

What to Expect During an Equine PEMF Session

Each Session begins with a brief discussion about your horse, including their current workload, health history and any areas you would like considered.

PEMF loops are then positioned over selcted areas of the horse's body. The session is non-invasive and does not require sedation.

Your horse's comfort and responses are obseved throughout the session, and the positioning and duration can be adjusted to suit the individual horse.

Many horses stand quietly and appear relaxed during their session. Horses are never forced to tolerate treatment and their comfort remains priority throughout.

Is Equine PEMF Suitable for My Horse?

PEMF can be a gently and supportive addition to the wellbeing routine of many horses, from pleasure horses through to those in regular training and competition.

However, every horse is different. Before their first session, you will be asked to complete an Equine PEMF Intake & Consent Form so that I can consider your horse's health history, current circumstances, medications, recent injuries or procedures, and any other factors that may affect their suitability for PEMF.

Where there is a health concern, recent injury, veterinary treatment or uncertainty about whether PEMF is appropriate, veterinary clearance may be requested before proceeding.

PEMF is provided as a complementary wellbeing modality and is not intended to diagnose, treat or replace veterinary care.

My priority is always to provide PEMF responsibly, with your horse's comfort, safety and individual needs at the centre of every session.
