A Treatment Tailored to You

Remedial massage is a tailored, hands-on treatment that focuses on areas of muscular tension, discomfort and restricted movement. Rather than following a set routine, each treatment is guided by your individual needs, using assessment and targeted techniques to address the muscles and soft tissues that may be contributing to how you feel.

At Honovi Harmonised Health, treatment looks beyond where it hurts. The aim is to understand contributing factors, support better movement and help you feel more comfortable and confident in your body.

rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.”

Roz with client

Your comfort is an important part of your treatment. Before we begin, we’ll talk through what has brought you in, any relevant health information and what you’d like to get from your session. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any concerns before treatment begins.

What to expect

During Your Treatment:
You’ll be appropriately draped throughout your treatment, with only the area being treated uncovered. Pressure and techniques can be adjusted at any time, and you’re always encouraged to let me know what feels comfortable for you.

Communication & Consent:
Treatment is collaborative. I’ll explain techniques where appropriate and check in with you throughout your session. You can ask for a technique to be changed or stopped at any time.

After Your Treatment:
You may be given simple stretches, movement suggestions or self-care strategies where appropriate. Some people experience temporary tenderness following targeted remedial work, particularly when areas have been tight or sensitive.
